Claire Siebenmorgen

Claire Siebenmorgen is a PhD student and research assistant at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, working on the ÖkoGen project since February 2023. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Hohenheim (2016-2019), followed by a Master's degree in Livestock Science from the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (2019-2021). Before starting her PhD in 2023, she worked as an agricultural engineer at the Ministry of Food, Rural Areas, and Consumer Protection Baden-Württemberg (2022-2023).
Claire has received several awards for her scientific work. In 2024, she won the poster award at the 17th Scientific Conference on Organic Farming (wita) in Giessen for the best visual presentation. In 2023, she was honored twice by the German Society for Sensory Science (DGSens): once in the category 'Teaching' from the perspective of universities and once in the category 'Creativity' from the perspective of the audience.
Claire is also an active author of scientific publications. Her works include an article in Poultry Science (June 2024) that explores the sensory comparison of broths from German local chicken breeds and their crossbreeds. Additionally, she has published a study on the advantages and disadvantages of mass spectrometry in the analysis of bovine blood sera in the journal "Veterinary Practice Issue K: Small Animals/Pets" (2022).
