Workshop Offer: Knowledge Nugget

The compact online format Knowledge Nugget offers practical insights into digital teaching and learning tools as well as innovative concepts for higher education teaching—all in just 45 minutes.

The next Knowledge Nugget will take place on Thursday, 27 August 2026, 2:30–3:15 p.m.. The topic is "Virtual Campus: Spatial Digital Learning Environments as an Alternative to Video Conferencing". The session will be presented by Dr. Stefan Böhme (TU Braunschweig).

New training opportunities

In July, there will once again be several exciting events relating to digital teaching, AI and innovative teaching formats.

The start will be made on 01.07.2026 by the Online Teaching Dialogue “AI bots as emotional support: How human is AI?”. In the two-hour exchange format, current questions relating to teaching and learning in online settings will be addressed.

On 02.07.2026, the next Wissensnugget will also take place. The topic of the 45-minute online impulse is “AI avatars (in VR)” and their potential for digital university teaching. Further information and registration can be found here.

Further AI offers will follow on 07.07.2026: In the AI Workshop: Tools and Applications in Teaching, various AI tools can be tried out using practical tasks and then discussed together with regard to their possible use in teaching. Also on 07.07.2026, the AI.Compact session “Nerd Talk on the Architecture of AI Systems (LLM)” will take place.

In addition, the Leuphana workshop “Media Design with AI (Image, Audio and Video)” will take place on 09.07.2026. It focuses on the use of AI for designing media-based teaching materials.
