Lucia studied “Organic Agricultural Sciences” and “Agricultural Sciences (focus on Resource management/Agroecology) at the universities of Witzenhausen and Göttingen. After practical experience in seed production of seedfast varieties she returned to the university as a doctoral student in the KOOPERATIV-project in 2024.

Lucia's focus in the KOOPERATIV-project are investigations of agricultural economics aspects of agri-environmental measures with a focus on flowering area and research into governance structures of cooperative flowering area projects in agriculture.
