🌳 PhD-Student available at the interface of forestry, agricultural, and social sciences!
We are seeking a 🎓 PhD student (f/m/d) to join the DFG Research Unit "Sustainable Rurbanity – Resources, Society and Regulatory Systems" (FOR5903) in the subproject “Synergies and trade-offs of soil functions in rurban spaces.”
In this interdisciplinary and international research context, you will investigate how tree-based land-use systems can help mitigate trade-offs between soil functions in rurban areas (Morocco). You will develop a bioeconomic, multi-criteria model and combine fieldwork, participatory methods, and modelling.
Start: October 1, 2025
Location: Göttingen (with fieldwork in Morocco)
